Client and Context

A large healthcare organization with 12,000 employees across Ontario, Quebec, and Alberta was implementing Oracle HCM Cloud through a Tier-1 SI partner. Payroll was the highest-risk workstream due to multi-jurisdiction legislative complexity and the volume of element configurations required.

The Problem

The SI partner had staffed payroll with general HCM consultants who lacked the multi-jurisdiction Canadian payroll depth required. Configuration errors were accumulating across element definitions, balance feeds, and fast formulas. The program needed a dedicated payroll authority who could own the workstream end-to-end.

Our Approach
